Journalist. Producer. Storyteller.
Production Classwork
I took a few production classes part of the Communication Studies curriculum at Longwood University, including Digital Editing, Digital Storytelling, COMMLab and Media Production.

These production courses gave me experience in shooting film using 4K and DSLR cameras, basic use of tripods and camera set-ups. To edit, I have strong knowledge in using Adobe Premiere Pro 2020, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition and Final Cut Pro X.
"To Save a Life" is a documentary I published in May 2019 for my Communication Studies production course. This semester-long project was about the lives of animals who were rescues, and covers the benefits of adopting rather than shopping for pets. The video was filmed and produced with a partner.
Produced a promotional video in April 2018 for Rotunda Studios, the news channel portion of the student newspaper. This video was for a media production course and was filmed by myself and a partner, but produced separately.
This video published for my Communication Studies media production course in December 2018 was my final project, being a promotional video for Longwood's suicide awareness club, Promise16. The video was filmed by myself and two others, but produced separately.
This was my first production in 2018. This is a feature on how the two Longwood tennis coaches grew up together in Venezuela and ended up coaching together in Farmville. This was filmed by myself and two others, but produced separately.
I was not the lead producer, rather a contributor in a team. My duties for this video was to assist with camera set-up and take-down, assist with lighting, assist with any b-roll shots and help the lead producer if needed.
